CHRISTIAN BENZ

Painting is my "Little Garden of Paradise"

In my pictorial experiments, I circle around central themes such as abstraction, the human condition, transience, Christian iconography and nature. As a beach walker of art history and everyday aesthetics, I am always on the lookout for a special shell. It fascinates me to "Christianise" the finds and weave them into my pictorial compositions, creating the unpredictable.
